What is enthusiasm?

Enthusiasm

The word "Enthusiasm" can be used as an interjection, representing an excess of courage and strength. Example: "You need to keep your spirits up to solve your problems". Etymologically, the word 'Enthusiasm" originates from the Latin animus, which means "soul", "courage" or "mind".

What does the Bible say about enthusiasm?

It's not always easy to be of good cheer or enthusiasm, because in life things will always happen that discourage us. Being discouraged is normal at times, but we cannot live a life discouraged, because that is not God's will for us.

We have to learn to fight against everything that prevents us from living the life God intended. This means that even when we are discouraged, we have to seek the face of the Lord, we cannot give up.

If you have accepted Jesus in your heart, you already have the best reason to be excited and happy: He conquered the greatest victory for you on the cross! There is no longer condemnation in your life and eternity in heaven is already assured!

" I have said this to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" John 16:33.

What is double mind?

Double mind: man who acts in two ways, is to act as spiritual and at the same time as carnal.

Doubleness: double-minded, hypocritical, falsehood.

"For that person must not suppose that a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, will receive anything from the Lord" James 1:7-8.

The apostle Paul also went through sufferings and needs and was discouraged. But, in Jesus, he found that he could endure all these things and come out victorious! If you love Jesus, you too can endure anything, with courage and hope for greater glory.

Look to God in difficult times and he will give you courage to keep on going.
